Global Rallycross is one of the most exciting forms of racing on the automotive scene, penning the best drivers in the world against each other in a blend circuit racing, off-road racing and rally competition. This year the folks at VW look to take home to the gold as they unveil their Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross Beetle.

So how does a VW Beetle, a car that’s marketed heavily to women, compete against the likes of Subaru and Ford? To do that, the folks at VW have teamed up with Andretti Autosport to build a turbo-charged, 560-horsepower all-wheel drive beast. Of course having Tanner Foust behind the wheel of the Rockstar Energy Beetle doesn’t hurt. This badass GRC vehicle will make its official debut at the Summer X Games in Austin, Texas. We can’t wait to see this thing in action.
