This Expandable 3D-Printed Camper Is An All-Inclusive Adventure Van

Off-grid living has made a dramatic jump in popularity over the past few years, and with the expeditionary home-on-wheels seeing a large surge in interest, a number of overland-oriented vehicle customizers have taken to the workbench to create the next big platform. While we’ve certainly seen more than our fair share of interesting trailers and tiny homes, VisionVenture’s latest Camper is assuredly unique, bringing a bevy of one-of-a-kind traits to the table for aspiring adventurers.

The VisionVenture Camper, which was revealed at this year’s Dusseldorf Caravan Salon, plays host to a handful of innovative designs. Inside, you’ll find a selection of high-end appliances, a full-sized kitchen, and a lavish living area that’s been outfitted with finely-upholstered furniture, BASF materials, and an attractive layout to make your life on the road assuredly above-average. The vehicle’s rear opens up into a mesmerizing rear deck area, gives denizens access to panoramic views of their surroundings, while exterior amenities like a slide-out electric grill and pneumatic sleeping roof provide the perfect areas to host or wind down after a long day of travel. But, perhaps the most interesting thing about the Camper is its construction. A handful of parts, including the platform’s wheel arch fairing, are entirely 3D-printed, giving them a durable, robust texture that can stand up to the wear and tear of off-the-grid living.
