One of the biggest problems with bikes is that they generally don’t have room for riders to store their stuff. Enter Virtue Bike, which offers a well-designed solution: putting a large wooden carrier in front of you.

The Virtue Cargo Bike School Bus allows riders to place cargo — groceries, beach gear, and other belongings — in front of them, so the rider doesn’t have to frequently turn around to see if there stuff is still there. More importantly, though, is that parents are able to place their children (or pets) safely in the front basket, meaning they won’t have to turn around to make sure their child is still behind them and they can have quality conversations without having to turn around. You could also opt for the School Bus+ model, which also has a Li-ion battery powered electric assist that comes in handy when the ride gets heavy. It’s available now for $1,499 or $999 without the electric motor. [Purchase]
