Victorinox Unveils A Damascus-Bladed, Forged Carbon-Scaled 29-Tool SAK

First released in 1985, the Victorinox Swiss Champ is a pocketable powerhouse, containing over two-dozen tools and functions while still being compact enough to make for a practical EDC item. And though Victorinox already produces multiple versions of this Swiss Army Knife, the latest Swiss Champ variant is unquestionably the most noteworthy to date, receiving a number of key material upgrades.

Christened the “Swiss Champ Damast Limited Edition,” this 29-function SAK includes bottle and can openers, scissors, pliers, wire cutter and crimping tools, two rulers, wood saw, nail file, metal saw. metal file. magnifying glass, multiple screwdrivers, chisel, multipurpose hook, and a corkscrew. Distinguishing it from the regular model, this limited edition Swiss Champ’s main blade has been replaced with a Damast Steel item, and its normal scales have been jettisoned in favor of black forged carbon fiber units. Handcrafted in Switzerland, this limited release is restricted to only 6,000 individually serialized units worldwide and comes sold in a special presentation gift box.
