Two years ago a couple of friends from Portland, Oregon decided that they wanted to make something that they’d be proud to pass down. After years of work and careful consideration of every detail, they rolled out the Versus VS-DB watch.
Save for the Eterna caliber 39 Swiss automatic movement that drives the Super-Luminova illuminated hands around the watch, just about every case component of this timepiece was made in the U.S. and assembled by hand at the Vero shop in Portland. The clear white pad printed Roman numeral indexes on the house-made face provide a simple but striking contrast, as does the minute hand on the subdial located at the 9 o’clock marker. As for the size of the case, it measures in at a more reserved 38mm – making it ideal for wear in almost any context. When you order the Verus VS-DB, it comes with three separate bands – a tan leather, black silicone, and waxed cotton. It’s a striking watch built for any time and any place.
