Veloretti Enters The E-Bike Market With A Pair Of Classic Yet Cutting-Edge Rides

When e-bikes first started hitting the market a couple of years ago, they were, admittedly, pretty crude creations. However, over time, they’ve grown lighter, sleeker, and overall much cleaner in their integration of electric motors. In fact, these days, there are some e-bikes that are practically indistinguishable from their pedal-powered counterparts.

Just take this pair from Veloretti, for instance. Despite being the Dutch bicycle manufacturer’s first-ever e-bikes, they’re remarkably clean in design. As the more retro-looking ride, the ‘Ivy’ offers a step-through frame that’s perfect for shorter riders, along with classic-inspired details for a timeless aesthetic. However, should you be after something a bit more streamlined, there’s always the ‘Ace’ with its flat top tube and understated componentry. No matter which model you choose, though, you’re getting some pretty cutting-edge tech, including integrated lighting, stepless automatic shifting, a Gates carbon belt drive, and even a display for turn-by-turn navigation. Constructed from aluminum and powered by a 250W Bafang motor and 510Wh battery, each bike clocks in at 46lbs, providing assistance up to 15.5mph speeds and a max range of 75 miles. When you consider that they also feature GPS, Bluetooth, and cellular connectivity, their $2,480 price tag seems like a steal.
