Vans x Schoeller Water Resistant Collection

In line with the popular cliche, those April showers are doing more than just prepping those May flowers. In fact, these pop-up Spring showers could catch you off-guard, potentially ruining that favorite pair of canvas sneakers you’ve been looking forward to rocking all winter. Fortunately, Vans has teamed up with performance textile merchant Schoeller to release a new line of kicks that are immune to such surprises.

The end result here is a seven-piece footwear collection that features Schoeller’s fabrications on classic Vans’ silhouettes. And in case you haven’t figured it out by now, yes that means these offerings are completely water repellant. The Swiss company utilizes the latest in ecologically-based techniques along with a contemporary design that pairs quite well with the classic Vans style. Each shoe features an elastic wind and water repellant WB-400 soft fabric with bonded layers resulting in enhanced comfort and reliability for all-day wear. The featured silhouettes in the collection include the Mid Skool Lite LX and the Authentic ’66 Lite LX in blue, green, pink and off white. They were released over the weekend and are currently only available at select Vault Dealers. Prices vary. [Purchase]
