Vans & MoMA Team Up On A Dali- & Monet-Inspired Shoe & Clothing Collection

Over the years, Vans has collaborated with many artists. From footwear and apparel, all the way to culturally-aware ad campaigns, the iconic brand has relied, often wholeheartedly, on the creative space, spotlighting up-and-coming talent, industry greats, and even some of art’s most prominent progenitors. For its latest collection, the outfit has teamed up with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) for a unique collection of tasteful apparel, shoes, and accessories.

The Vans x MoMA artist capsule is an expansive, two-part series that highlights work from some of the genre’s most respected talent, including (but not limited to) Salvador Dalí, Vasily Kandinsky, and Claude Monet. In the pursuit of unparalleled creative expression, an assortment of MoMA branded footwear, apparel, and accessories have been imbued with bright, blocky colors, subtle typography, and classic art pieces, like Monet’s Water Lilies, Kandinsky’s Orange, and Dali’s The Persistence of Memory. The first launch is slated for a September debut, with a second collection (centering on works by Edvard Munch, Jackson Pollock, Lybov Popova, and Faith Ringgold) arriving sometime in November.
