Just when we all thought the world of smartphone connectivity couldn’t get any cooler, Dutch urban bike manufacturer Vanmoof released the Electrified S, a sleek smartphone connected e-bike. Though many recent attempts at e-bikes resulted in a gaudy, unattractive appearance, Vanmoof managed to integrate its 250w front hub motor into the frame.

Additionally, the motor provides the bike with top speed capabilities of 20 mph and achieves about 75 miles of range per charge when traveling at 10mph. It also features a keyless lock with hand-recognition technology, and boasts a tracking system to help eliminate any possibility of bike theft. And fret not, this is still a fully functional bike that works on pedal power. So if you’re worried about wasting the battery on flat land or feeling lazy by not doing any of the work, don’t be, this e-bike simply serves as a supplement to your riding experience. They’re available now for around $3,000.[Purchase]
