
Usual Suspects: 1920s Mugshots Of Batman Super Villains
The Roaring Twenties marked the first time that Americans were living in cities as oppose to farms, and marked plenty of dramatic political and social change. Let’s not forget about the fashion sense during this era. Canada based artist Jason Mark tapped the 1920s for his new Batman super villain mugshot collection.
The 3D artist, who often goes by the nickname of Jempix, gave the series the title of ‘Usual Suspects’ showcasing many of the iconic Batman villains. The collection sees mugshots for John Doe (Joker), Harvey Dent (Two-Face), Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin), and Victor Fries (Mr. Freeze). All of the super villains look as though they are right out of the 1920s. Check out the complete art collection below.
