US Bank Tower Skyslide in Downtown LA

We’re all aware of companies outfitting their offices with quirky design and extracurricular activities such as pool and ping-pong tables, but this feature might be pushing the limit. The US Bank Tower, now owned by Singapore-based OUE Limited and topping out at over 1,000 feet above the busy streets downtown Los Angeles, is set to build a “skyslide” on the exterior of the tower. The purpose? As if working in finance wasn’t extreme enough, they want to create a heart pumping and adrenaline-fueled 45 foot transit from the 70th to the 69th floor.

The skyslide will be comprised of 1.25-inch-thick glass, enough to prevent sliders from breaking through and free falling into traffic below. The attraction is set to open on June 25th of this year, and will set you back $25 per slide. Office workers and visitors should have fun with this one, just be sure not to eat too large a lunch before hitting this slide.
