Urbantrike Adult Big Wheels

Inspired by a superhero themed birthday party that helped him feel like a kid again, Arizona based resident Mike Mariani decided to create Urbantrike, a range of big wheel tricycles designed specifically for adults.

Constructed from a steel frame, and equipped with a free spinning front wheel, Pneumatic rubber tires, and a vinyl seat, these really are toys for the big boys. Described as a pedal powered chopper, there are three different models of Urban Trikes available. You have The Bailey (compact and nimble), the Atticus (hot rod inspired design with 18 inch tires), and then there’s our personal favorite – the Adairicus. The third model started as a one off model for a customer who wanted a lower profile and dual rear tires. The design became immensely popular, and the small team of trike lovers decided to throw into lineup. One of the coolest features of these big wheels is the removable rear axle, which makes it easy to pack this thing into the trunk of your car. Support the project on Kickstarter and check out the video below.
