Unit 1 Soundshield

We all know how music can enhance just about any situation or work environment we find ourselves occupying, including the realm of action sports. However, it’s the more extreme and harsh nature of these outdoor activities that make over-ear headphones borderline impossible to wear in conjunction with a helmet. Well, allow us to introduce you to the Soundshield sports helmet.

Crafted to house their sleekly designed headphones, the Soundshield eliminates the need for uncomfortable ear buds when snowboarding, skating or skiing. They come with a built-in microphone and can play nonstop for up to 16 hours on a full charge. Also, Soundshield’s single button control allows you to control volume and take phone calls without needing to remove your gloves or mittens. Don’t forget about the helmet either which – thanks to a 3 mm thick ABS shell, removable goggle clip, temple protection and inner padding – provides you with ample protection and comfort out there. It’s all rated IPX4 for sweat and splash resistance and is currently available now through their crowdfunding campaign with prices starting at $130. [Purchase]
