UNIQLO’s commitment to men’s style is unquestionable. After all, the company has built its reputation off of the creation, and sale of some of today’s most influential essentials, becoming one of the industry’s premier proprietors in the process. Now, they’ve teamed up with one of London’s most lauded clothing designers, JW Anderson, to bring us a taste of Britain’s eclectic styles.
For UNIQLO’s Fall/Winter 2019 Collection, the company has decided to focus on a handful of Europe’s most prevalent garments, including fleece outerwear, wool shirts, cardigans, and quilted jackets. Each article of clothing has been adorned in historic patterns that have become staples of Britain’s fashion community, like tartan plaid, Fair Isle knit, and loose-weave styling. To keep the collection in-line with UNIQLO’s modern offerings, the company has also implemented a handful of technical upgrades, including HEATTECH and AIRISM, which provide each garment with a comfortable, lightweight, and breathable construction, while protecting wearers during the winter’s colder months.
