Union Wine Co. Wine Tasting Truck
It took a few years, but finally, food trucks have gone mainstream. Now… what to drink?
Portland, Oregon-based Union Wine Co. has earned some buzz in the past year or so with its wine-in-a-can product, and now the startup is taking their casual approach to crushed grapes one step further: the wine tasting truck.
A 1972 restored Citroën H Van can now be seen roaming Portlandia, offering up Underwood Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir in cans. Starting later this month, the wine truck will be parked at the corner of 33rd and Division streets in Portland on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons and evenings. You can rent the truck for parties and weddings, or heck, just pay them to follow you to the nearest food truck congregation.
