Italian-based UNIMATIC has emerged as one of the favorites in a crowded microbrand field thanks to their minimalist tool watch design language. But now, with some help from the watch experts at HODINKEE, the brand is stepping up their game even further with a trio of new tool watches.

The watches that make up the UNIMATIC x HODINKEE H Series Limited Edition Collection are the first from UNIMATIC to feature Swiss-made movements. Designed to cover use on land, sea, and air, the series includes a field watch, a diver, and a GMT — another first for UNIMATIC. First up is the Modello Due U2-H, a Sellita SW200-1-powered 38.5mm field watch with a California dial and 300m water resistance. Next is the Modello Uno U1-H, a new twist on UNIMATIC’s flagship diver featuring a thinner case, a “HODINKEE Grey” dial, and an SW200-1 movement. Finally, there’s the Modello Uno U1-HGMT. Here, the brand’s dive watch case has been transformed into a GMT thanks to the addition of a unidirectional 24-hour bezel, a grey GMT hand, an engraved caseback featuring the 24 major timezones, and a Sellita SW330-2 automatic GMT movement. The watches are available from HODINKEE exclusively, and range in price from $675 for the field watch to $1,395 for the GMT.

Purchase: $675+
