Unimatic’s Stealthy Chronographs Can Withstand Diving Depths Of 1,000Ft

Despite being a relatively new player in the luxury watch game, Unimatic has already achieved a steady following with its attractive, minimalistic dive watch designs. And as we approach the tail-end of 2019, the Italian firm has now unveiled a pair of new offerings with the stealthy and spartan Model Tre U3s.

The Italian-made chrono-divers feature a 40mm 316 stainless steel case complemented by a brushed finish, 41.5mm 120-click mono-directional security bezel, matte black dial with Super-LumiNova over-sized markers and hands under a 2.5mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal face, 8mm crown, and “fat” 5.5mm screw-in chrono-pushers. Tested to withstand up to 1,000ft of water resistance, these affordable dive watches are powered by a Meca-quartz caliber Seiko VK64 movement. Paired with a black, heavy-duty nylon Nato strap and offered in a blacked-out scheme (U3-FN) or with contrasting silver case, bezel, and hardware (U3-F), the new chrono-divers come sold in a special dual-slot shockproof “Unimatic Tough Case.” Limited to only 400 units worldwide, the Unimatic Model Tre U3-FN has been priced at $693, though official pricing on the U3-F has yet to be revealed.
