To put it mildly, we’ve been impressed with Under Armour’s releases as of late. They’re rugged, packed with new tech, and mean looking as a can. Case in point, the new Under Armour Infil tactical boot.
This boot borrows from the Maryland based athletic company’s Infil hiking silhouette, but features a different outsole and upper construction better fit for more dynamic, short burst activities as well as sustained comfort and protection. The stand out difference on these boots, however, has to be the special BOA speed closure system. The wire laces snake from the 900D forefoot and go all the way up along the anatomically molded upper for a secure fit that won’t budge even through serious use. Of course, that isn’t all the boot has to offer. For protection and support while on the trail or while running around the upper also features a scratch rubber heel, a TPU toe cap, and a lightweight carbon fiber shank through the mid. To end it all out – for traction while out in the field, the outsole features high traction lugs that’ll keep you grounded. All things said, another impressive release. Prices start at $200.
