Usually, when you’re out on the trails and you come across a body of water, you’ve got two options: find a shallow enough spot to ford it or go around. Of course, if you want to make the most of your environment, you could prepare yourself by bringing along a packable raft. And that just became easier than ever, thanks to Uncharted Supply Co’s Rapid Raft.

First unveiled — and favored by many convention-goers — at this year’s Outdoor Retailer show, The Rapid Raft is the lightest and most packable raft ever released to the public. It hinges on a patented design that allows this three-pound raft to inflate fully in seconds without the necessity of any tools. Once inflated, it can haul 400 pounds without capsizing, it has a handy one-way valve to top it off or relieve pressure on-the-go, and it’s super simple to collapse it and pack it away again once you’re done. Headed to IndieGoGo soon, this raft will sell for $399 — but you can get it for just $249 if you sign up for more information.

IndieGoGo: $249+
