Red Bull BMX Session: Silverdome

Dec 4, 2019

Category: Entertainment

The Silverdome was once home to the NFL’s Detroit Lions, and hosted iconic events like Wrestlemania III, numerous Supercross events, and even World Cup soccer games. These days, it’s nothing more than a half demolished abandoned arena – the perfect arena for BMX rider Tyler Fernengel to shred on his 2-wheeler.

A Michigan native, Fernengel is an up and coming Red Bull BMW rider, and in this nearly 3 and a half minute video, the young athlete shows off his talents as he rides through the abandoned halls of the legendary stadium. At 3 years old, Fernengel attended his first dirt bike race at the Silverdome, so it only seems fitting that he would return for one last run.
