TW Steel is a Dutch horological outfit best known for its stylish oversized men’s timepieces. And though the Amsterdam-based operation has existed since 2005, it has always catered to a mid-level demographic with its range of attractive yet affordable watches. TW Steel’s latest offering, however, sees the brand venture into novel territory with the release of its first-ever high-end dive watch with its all-new ACE Diver Collection.
Comprised of five different designs each constructed around a steel 44mm case — available in either high-gloss polished or rough matte brushed finishes — the Ace Divers are powered by a Swiss-made chronograph movement that’s accurate to 1/10th of a second, utilizes a 54-month battery, and is waterproof to 300m. Beneath its scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal the watch boasts a dual-layered face bestowed with Swiss Super-Luminova-adorned hands and number markers. The 44mm cases are paired with a rubber band with a high-grade 316L stainless steel U-shaped clasp. Limited to just 1,000 units worldwide, the Ace Divers are currently available for pre-order at a special discounted price until January 24, after which point they’re slated to begin deliveries in March of 2020. In addition to selling each unit in a special black gift box, TW Steel is also offering personal engravings on the case back.
