Tudor’s most popular line by far is their Black Bay range of dive watches, and the brand has recently used the series as a launching pad for big innovations. Just last month, the Black Bay Ceramic debuted Tudor’s first METAS-certified Master Chronometer movement, and now the Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze introduces the new T-fit clasp.
The Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze is also the brand’s first boutique edition and is only available for purchase in select Tudor boutiques. It has, as you may have guessed, a bronze case. But unlike the larger Black Bay Bronze, the 39mm BB58 version also has a full bronze bracelet — another first for the brand. And on that bracelet is the new T-fit clasp. This rapid-adjustment clasp offers wearers the ability to easily change the size of the bracelet throughout the day, and it works similarly to sister brand Rolex’s acclaimed Glidelock clasp. The clasp adjusts to five positions and a total of 8mm, which gives you plenty to work with as your wrist size fluctuates throughout the day. Hopefully, this clasp will migrate to the bracelets of other Tudor models in the future. The Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze is available from select Tudor boutiques worldwide for $4,525.
