TrunkMonkey Inflatable Bike-Carrier

TrunkMonkey is an intuitive new inflatable bike-carrying companion that fits any car and any back, eliminating the need for a permanent bike rack on your car. The TrunkMunkey actually fits in a small holder — made out of Kevlar, by the way — that can be attached to your bike with ease.

The TrunkMonkey also has adjustable nylon straps, and is compatible with any vehicle that has a rear trunk or hatch. Best of all, the TrunkMonkey is also able to secure any bike frame, regardless of the style of bicycle. It comes with a 12v DC air pump which inflates the TrunkMonkey in less than 2 minutes, as well as deflates it when you’re ready to store it away. So if you’re caught in a pinch or simply prefer to not have a bike rack permanently mounted to the back of your car, the TrunkMonkey is currently available on Kickstarter for $100.
