True Detective Season 2 Teaser Trailer

Dec 4, 2019

Category: Entertainment

Starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, HBO’s True Detective became an instant hit when it debuted last year. Fans have been a bit worried about how season 2 will turn out, and judging from this teaser trailer, it looks like we will be getting right back to the magic that made the first season so gripping.

The new cast includes a mustached Colin Farrel alongside Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch. Aside from the obvious cast member changes, there is also a new director at the helm of the project in Justin Lin. And while Lin will be replacing Cary Fukunaga, season one’s writer Nic Pizzolatto (who also happens to be the creator of the series) will be continuing his writing duties. True Detective season 2 will make its debut on HBO on June 21st.
