While exotic Aston Martins get most of the screentime in Bond films, they’re hardly the only vehicles the steely-eyed spy has at his disposal. On the contrary, 007 also spends a fair amount of time ripping around on motorcycles, be it a BMW R1200C in Tomorrow Never Dies, a Montesa Cota 4RT in Quantum of Solace, or a Honda CRF240R in Skyfall. So, with two bikes featuring in No Time To Die, Triumph has decided to celebrate accordingly.
Having already dropped a limited-run Scrambler 1200 late last year, Triumph is back, though this time it’s with a new Tiger 900 Bond Edition. Inspired by the Rally Pro model appearing in No Time To Die, it comes decked out in a slew of 007 details. For starters, Triumph has treated the bike to an exclusive Sapphire Black paint job, with gold graphics on the tank and fairing to give it some added contrast. In the cockpit, you’ll find a billet machined handlebar clamp, each one individually numbered to commemorate the bike’s collectible status. Complemented by a bespoke 007 start-up screen on the display, it’s a setup that’s sure to inspire some Bond-worthy riding. Around the rest of the bike, Triumph has gone all-in on the blacked-out look, finishing the frame, side panels, lamp shrouds, engine guards, and footrest hangers in a muted matte paint. Riding on some Bridgestone Battlax tires, it even comes with a stainless steel Arrow Silencer and a spare set of Michelin Anakee Wild knobbies.
As with the Scrambler 1200 Bond homage, Triumph will only be selling a handful of these 007-inspired Tiger 900s. Just 250 examples are available worldwide, each one starting at $20,100.
