Founded in 2011, Bad Winners is one of the world’s most eminent custom motorcycle outfits, with a lengthy portfolio of exceedingly clean one-off builds and bolt-on kits. And with 2021 marking the Bad Winner’s tenth anniversary, the Parisian shop has decided to celebrate its first decade in operation with a limited build series that recreates one of its most celebrated builds in a 25-unit run.
A multi-bike follow-up to the shop’s 2018 “Zero Gravity” Triumph build, the 2.0 version is based on Triumph’s latest 1200 R-spec Thruxton and sports carbon fiber Dynamag wheels wrapped in sticky Pirelli rubber, a Koso LED headlight shrouded in a Bad Winner’s carbon headlight faring, a custom seat set in a carbon tail section, and a matching, partially bare carbon tank. The cockpit is nothing short of a work of art, with a custom top triple with integrated instrumentation, Renthal clip-ons, and Motone switchgear. Paired with a Power Commander V is a set of high-flow pod filters and a bespoke exhaust system comprised of all-Italian components in the form of Termignoni headers culminating in an SC-Project CR-T carbon racing can. Bad Winner’s 2021 Triumph Thruxton 1200 R Zero Gravity 2.0 is available for reservation now, with pricing set at approximately $36,200 (including the $15,400 donor model).
