Treehotel Cabin In Sweden

Those who were lucky enough to build — or at the very least play in — treehouse remember that fleeting desire to maybe, one day, try and build a real house high up in the sticks. Most of us now simply hope for something affordable with hardwood floors, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t real-life treehouses out there. Take the Treehotel Cabin in Sweden for instance.

Located in the Lule River Valley among a number of other architectural oddities like the 7th Room, and Bird’s Nest, this one-of-a-kind hotel offers up a comfortable room with modern amenities high up in the trees. The 78 square-foot room can accomodate two guests and comes equipped with a rooftop terrace and working toilets. For showers and food, the Treehotel offers up a close-by restaurant, sauna, bar, and lounge for socializing. If it were us, though, we’d just hang out on that rooftop deck for as long as our wallets could stand it.
