Optimus Prime Uber

As if Uber couldn’t get any cooler, the ride sharing app has teamed up with the Transformers franchise to offer Uber users a chance to take a ride in Optimus Prime himself.

With ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction‘ set to hit theaters on June 27th, we couldn’t think of a better way to promote the film than putting the leader of the Autobots to work. Simply log into the Uber app to request a pickup, select the “AUTOBOTS” option followed by the “ROLL OUT” option, and you’re ready to roll. Within minutes Optimus Prime (a custom Western Star semi) will show up at your doorstep (or any requested location) to take you on a 15-minute ride throughout the city. Unfortunately Prime cannot be in multiple locations at once. The service will be available in Dallas on June 16th, Phoenix on June 19th, and Los Angeles on June 21st between the hours of 1 pm and 7 pm. This could be the coolest promo we’ve ever seen for a movie.
