But that’s all about to change because the folks at Indian Motorcycles and Trager Grills have joined forces on this simply magnificent Springfield Darkhorse sidecar motorcycle.
At first glance (especially if you were to see it on the road), you might think this is simply a beautifully-built custom bike equipped with a gorgeous sidecar. But at closer inspection, you’ll notice that the sidecar isn’t a sidecar at all. Rather, it’s a fully-functional Traeger Ironwood 885 wood pellet grill — complete with mounts for all your grilling tools and accessories. Built with the help of Thor Drake of See See Motorcycles, this incredibly-clever moto will be headed to the 79th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, where it will actually be used to dish out some delectable dishes.
