It’s been 20 years since Tops Knives first opened their workshop, and what a wonderful run they’ve had. To celebrate this momentous milestone, the brand is taking a look at some of their most favored blades and releasing special limited editions. The 20th Anniversary Tom Brown Tracker #3 fixed blade is the first of the bunch — and it’s a doozy.

One of the most iconic survival knives ever — even having played a pivotal role in the action-thriller film, The Hunted — the Tom Brown tracker is lauded around the world by survivalists, outdoorsmen, and knife fanatics alike. That also makes it very hard to improve upon, but Tops managed it by upgrading the blade to S30VN steel and the handle to a brown burlap Micarta. Even the sheath has been bolstered by swapping out the Kydex in favor of top-tier burgundy leather. At $360 a piece, it’s an expensive American-made fixed blade, but it’s got all the makings of a legendary outdoor tool that will be talked about for years to come.

Purchase: $360
