Founded in 2008, Topo Designs is a bag and apparel brand started by a pair of friends in a Colorado basement, though it’s since become one of the most eminent forces in its product space, lauded for its signature city-meets-mountaineer style. And while the company has no doubt grown on a massive scale since its inception, Topo Designs is now paying homage to its roots and early days with a Colorado-made capsule crafted from high-end cotton canvas and genuine Horween leather.
Christened the “Heritage Canvas Collection,” this new lineup is comprised of five top-shelf material takes on some of Topo’s most revered designs with the Rover Pack, Klettersack, Daypack, Commuter Briefcase, and Dopp Kit all getting the Horween and canvas treatment. In addition to being made in America from hand-selected materials, the Heritage Canvas Collection bags are also decorated with custom hardware and bespoke leather and/or Topo-logoed zipper-pulls. Each of the five items is also offered in at least three color variants including an all-blacked-out version with blacked-out trim and hardware and a dark khaki canvas variant paired with dark brown Horween leather. Available now, the Topo Designs Heritage Canvas Collection starts at $69 for the special edition Dopp and goes up to $249 for the Commuter Briefcase and the Klettersack.
