Over its roughly decade-long existence, the Todd Synder brand has a deep catalog of collaborations with some of the biggest names in fashion and apparel. And there appears to be no sign of that trend slowing, as the company has now revealed a new collaborative effort with New Balance with the Todd Snyder x New Balance 997 Chalk Stripe.
This all-American effort was inspired by the lives and styles of tennis stars of the 1970s, both on and off the court. Starting with the Boston footwear outfits classic 997 silhouette, Todd Synder has adorned the ‘90s classic in a premium gray suede leather complimented by white snake-embossed leather and smooth white patent leather on the toe, collar, tongue, and New Balance logos on the sides. Other changes include white and dark grey outsoles, muted hold rubber highlights, and comfort-bolstering EVA foam cushioning in the midsole. All in all, the shoe delivers an interesting mix of subtle colors and bold materials, breathing new life into a ‘90s cult classic. Available in men’s size 7 through 13, the Todd Snyder x New Balance 997 Chalk Stripe is available now with pricing set at $230.
