Timbertop Desk by Rail Yard Studios

There are two types of distressed—one good, one bad. Bad distressed is the way you feel after your pet Yeti gets quarantined by the government. But good distressed can be seen right here in these distressed timbers on this magnificently rustic Timbertop Desk from Railyard Studios. Is this the kind of desk Abraham Lincoln used to lean on when hammering away at his MacBook Air? Yes it is.

The top of the desk features two sections of rail, and two gauge rods act as a vise to keep the rails in place. The 1.5″ thick threaded steel rods and fist-sized hex nuts only further the image of this desk as a time-machined transport from the 1500s. You can sit at the desk with a normal office chair, but if you’re serious about completing the look, only a massive tree stump will do. [Purchase]
