Since basically forever, diamond engagement rings have exclusively been marketed toward women. But Tiffany & Co. is looking to change that, as the iconic jeweler has just launched its first-ever line of diamond engagement rings for men.
Named for the company’s founder, the Charles Tiffany Setting men’s engagement rings are available in six varieties. The rings are a twist on the traditional signet style of gentlemen’s rings and are available in a variety of diamond cuts and materials. There are four platinum options: two with round brilliant diamonds in wide and thin styles, and two more-angular wide and thin rings with emerald-cut diamonds. The least traditional rings in the series are the two titanium variants. Both rings come adorned with rectangular emerald-cut diamonds that are over 3 carats in weight available in matte-finished gray or black titanium. Tiffany says their men’s engagement ring line “marks a bold new era of love,” and with pricing starting around $17,000, it’s an expensive new era, too.
