This Is Ground Music Dopp Kit

If you grew up in the 1970s, you know all about its wealth of culture — a golden age full of fashionable streetwear, cardboard box dancefloors, and a multitude of musical influencers. Los Angeles-based leather goods maker This Is Ground is planning the next analog takeover with a quintessential, boombox-inspired music kit that’s as much a technological organization system as it is a fine leather tote.

The design for the new Music Dopp Kit is heavily inspired by the traditional 1970s analog boombox, which featured a trademark angular body, usually in the shape of a rectangle. The interior of the premium leather bag features a variety of organizational compartments for the audiophile’s EDC gear with straps, zippered enclosures, and a circular loop that secures your over-ear headphones in place during your daily commute. Prices haven’t been released yet, but there’s an option to sign up for updates on This Is Ground’s website.
