Therm-A-Rest Slacker Hammock House

Therm-A-Rest is certainly best known for their camping mattresses and pads, but that’s not all the brand has to offer. In fact they also offer a number of cots, tents, and hammocks for all types of adventures, as well. In fact, they’ve just expanded their line of hanging beds with a handy, easy-to-use, all-conditions hammock called the Slacker Hammock House.

Although the name might suggest that this piece of gear promotes laziness, it really encourages the opposite. You see, this hanging bed is simple and quick to set up, has a modular construction that allows you to easily switch between styles (including a normal open format, a bug net, and a rainfly that doubles as an awning), and folds down into an attached bag – making it the perfect hanging shelter to bring along on your outdoor adventures. Although it weighs a total of just 3 pounds and 10 ounces, it has a carry capacity of up to 400 pounds. And it’s made from 100% ripstop polyester, so it wont get torn up out on the trails. You can have one now for just $200.

Purchase: $200
