If you’re looking to unwind after a long week, taking a leisurely jaunt around on your beach cruiser can be a remarkably serene and enjoyable experience. But, sometimes that serenity finds you at the bottom of a daunting incline. In most cases, you’d have to dismount and drag that single-speed back up the hill. That is, unless you’re riding the Lithium Cycles Super 73. This electric bike is mounted with a 1000 watt motor, which can reach speeds up to 25mph, and it might just be the best thing you could find yourself upon.

The Southern California-based company didn’t stop at the motor, either. This bike rides upon twin 4.25in wide semi-slick tires which can handle any terrain, disc brakes, a USB port, a cup holder/bottle opener combo, and a battery which can be locked and/or removed to charge or for security–need we say more? Pledge $1800 to their Kickstarter before time runs out and you’ll be added to the early-bird special roster–they’re anticipating a shipping date of Oct 16.
