The Revenant Trailer

Here we are in 2015, and Leonardo DiCaprio still hasn’t one an Oscar. When you look at all of his past successful films — Titanic, The Departed, Django Unchained to name a few of his best — it’s astonishing that he still hasn’t won the most prestigious award an actor can win. Hopefully, that’ll soon change when DiCaprio faces off against Tom Hardy in The Revenant, which is being described as a “revenge western.”

The Revenant will follow the story of frontiersman Hugh Glass who squares off against his former confidant, John Fitzgerald. In the movie, DiCaprio will be faced at odds against the freezing temperatures, natives, and a bear. Apparently, he’ll set out to find revenge against those who left him for dead following a bear mauling. Judging by the trailer, it looks to be quite a formidable movie. The Revenant will see a limited release in theaters on December 25 followed by a wide release on January 7, 2016.
