The Rarest Japanese Whisky Collection Ever Is Heading To Auction

To some, whisky is just a beverage to help you relax at the end of a long week, but to others, it’s an elixir of fine distillation artistry. The Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Full Cards Series Japanese Whisky Collection is the rarest and largest whisky compilation of its kind in the world, and it will be up for auction.

Each one of the 54 bottles in the collection represents a playing card in a full deck. There are only four complete sets of the Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Full Cards Series in the entire world, making this a highly sought-after collection for any whisky lover. Each bottle was produced at the acclaimed Hanyu distillery from 1984 to 2014. This collection is one of the highlights of the Fine & Rare Wine and Whisky auction that will take place in Hong Kong on August 16. The entire collection is expected to pull in $770,000.
