The North Face HyperAir GTX Jacket

Dec 8, 2015

Category: Gear

This isn’t your typical waterproof rain jacket. To celebrate its upcoming 50th birthday, the outdoor gear makers at The North Face have developed the most breathable waterproof jacket ever – the HyperAir GTX.

The California-based brand has equipped this jacket with a new GORE-TEX Active material that provides bone-dry protection for all of your outdoor training, from running to camping. And while the fabric repels rain and wind like a champ, it does so while increasing breathability at the same time. The HyperAir GTX is extremely lightweight, and if you’re looking to run in the jacket, you’ll be happy to know the permanent beading surface also reduces sweat accumulation, and releases moisture quickly to keep you from becoming clammy and uncomfortable. The jacket will retail for $249 when it’s released on December 15th. [Purchase]
