The North Face Black Series Velvet Nuptse Jacket

Category: Style

The North Face is no stranger to the utilization of interesting design elements in their signature lineup, but it’s not often that we see the combination of innovative outdoor technologies and a coveted, ultra-fine fabric. Their new Black Series Velvet Capsule promises a unique union and straddles the line between streetwear and purposeful outerwear.

The Velvet Nuptse Jacket is a step away from the silhouette of a traditional outdoor layer, bringing a ‘90s style fabric into the modern day lineup with a durable water-repellent coating and WindWall resistance. Although the velvet exterior may seem fragile, it’s constructed with some of the brand’s highest quality materials, making it durable, warm, and comfortable to wear in harsh urban conditions. The jacket will release alongside four other exclusive colorways at The North Face Prototype Store on November 28th.
