The North Face recently released an impeccably realized collection named ‘92 Rage, which pays respect to some of the most famous snowboarding colorways and styles from the 1990s. Now, the outdoor gear manufacturer has unveiled the second phase of their retro grouping, the Rage II Collection, featuring a number of reimagined black and white silhouettes.
The Rage II Collection features a diverse selection of throwback styles that harken back to snowboarding’s greatest era — and while the original ‘92 Rage jackets, pants, and accessories feature a period-specific purple, orange, and black tonal range, The North Face’s newest offerings opt for a conservative visual agenda. Standout articles such as the Rage Rain Jacket, Fleece Anorak, Fleece Crew, and Rage Ballcap utilize a new black, white, and silver colorway, while technical offerings like the Lineage Ruck 37L Backpack are dressed in a stealthy shadow-black. The Rage II’s Rain Jacket features mesh and taffeta-lined DryVent technology that’s been constructed using windproof fabrics, VISLON zippers, and a waterproof rating of 25 psi — providing the wearer with technical outerwear that remains stylish from the mountain all the way to the city streets.
