The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Vest

Category: Style

When the fashion world circles back to a particular style, chances are it’s on its way to being timeless. The North Face went back to 1996 and pulled from their prized catalog to resurrect the Nuptse Vest.

Although it keeps the retro ‘90s boxy blueprint intact, the vest does have contemporary upgrades to make it more functional than it ever was. Each Nuptse Vest is made from shiny ripstop fabric with a DWR finish and overside baffles, a concealed hood in the collar, bungee cinch at the hem, and an exposed ‘Vislon’ two-way center front zip. This warm old school vest is also water-resistant, wind-resistant, and comes with a lifetime guarantee. If you’re looking for a vest for mountain work or city life, you can’t do any better than this throwback.
