In the last year alone, The James Brand has unveiled a slew of collaborative capsules and releases, including joint-effort endeavors with Daneson, Elyse Graham, Raen Eyewear, AETHER, and Carryology. Though as the Christmas season gets in full swing, the Portland-based EDC gear purveyor has now announced its next collab with a limited edition collection done in partnership with Topo Designs.
Dubbed the “Holiday Capsule,” the collection is made up of special, limited-edition versions of TJB’s Hardin Carabiner and Ellis knife, both anodized in blood red, with the former sporting a black-spring-loaded gate and the latter boasting a blacked-out partially serrated Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade blade and driver. Both the pocket knife and the drop-forged 6063 aluminum carabiner also come with a special EDC pouch–made from a rugged combination of 1,000D nylon and Horween leather—that’s specifically designed to carry the two TJB items, and is only available through this capsule. In addition to being made in America, the entire capsule is also backed by TJB’s lifetime warranty. Available now in limited numbers, The James Brand x Topo Designs Holiday EDC Capsule is priced at $150.
