Born in Salem and based in Portland, Sebastian “Sebo” Walker is a contemporary Oregonian artist and skateboarder that went pro with Krooked in 2016. As a fan of Sebo’s Mark Gonzales and Keith Haring-inspired art, the fellow PDX-based team at The James Brand has tapped the skater and painter to deliver a limited edition run of Duval flipper knives.
The collaboration started with TJB commissioning a triptych from Sebo, which was then digitized and used to create the embedded art on the G-10 scales of 50 limited edition knives — no two of which are alike. The framelock handle is paired with a 2.6” modified sheepsfoot blade that’s crafted from CPM-S35VN steel and guided via ceramic ball bearings — specs that are unchanged from the standard Duval model. In addition to the triptych, Sebo has also produced 50 unique 8” x 10” prints, one of which will be included with each TJB x Sebo Duval, along with a lanyard. Available now, The James Brand x Sebo Walker Duval Knife is priced at $350.
