The Homer: Real Life Simpsons Inspired Car

Fans of The Simpsons need no reminder about what The Homer is (from season 2 episode 15). When Homer’s brother Herb asked him to create a car that would appeal to the “average” American, The Homer was born.

The vehicle ended up being extremely expensive to build, and sent Herb’s company out of business, but that doesn’t mean the car wasn’t awesome. The team at Porcubimmer Motors have decided to build a real life The Homer car set to debut at the upcoming 24 Hours of LeMons race. This thing has all the details dialed in including the metal bowler hood ornament, bubble dome out back for the fighting kids (complete with Bart and Lisa Simpson models), and is even equipped with the La Cacuracha horn.
