The Helicycle Flying Motorcycle

Flying cars are something that we constantly dream about, but we don’t really count on them becoming a reality – at least anytime soon. Well why we were busy turning down the possibility of a personal aircraft that can tackle both the open road and soar like an eagle, the Helicycle was born – and it does just that.

In what could be one of the top vehicle choices for the zombie apocalypse, the Helicycle is a two-seater, three-wheeled motorcycle-like vehicle on the ground, reaching speeds of up to 112 miles per hour, and sprinting to 60 mph in under 8 seconds. In just 10 minutes, the vehicle deploys its propellor, rotor and dual rudders, and you’re ready to take flight. With just 540 feet runaway, the flying Helicycle will provide pilots up to 220 miles of flight time (under 4,000 feet altitude), and nearly 750 miles on the ground thanks to the 27 gallon tank. This thing uses nothing but high quality parts as well, being built from a mixture of titanium, aluminum, and carbon fiber to keep weight down without compromising strength. For $295,000, you get it all, including comprehensive training. You will need your Sports Pilot Certificate. Watch the video below. [Purchase]
