Sleep Beneath The Starry Sky In This Transparent Plexiglass Tiny Cabin
Set in Canada’s picturesque Prince Edward County in southeastern Ontario, (roughly 100 miles east of Toronto), the Edward Bed & Breakfast is a quaint three-suite establishment that operates year-round. The B&B is nestled on a 75-acre property that includes a massive wooded area that is used for the business’s various supplementary experiences, such as the Skyward Cabin.
Designed and constructed by Payam Shalchian (who co-owns the B&B), the 80-square foot cabin is incredibly minimalistic, comprised of a bed and little else. The walls and ceiling panels consist of transparent plexiglass items that provide breathtaking views of the Canadian night sky above. The small structure is supplemented by a 64-square foot bathhouse that contains a shower and composting toilet. Outside, there’s also a wood stove, for cooking, or just enjoying the heat on cold nights. Good for accommodating two adults, the Skyward cabin has a two-night minimum/maximum stay and starts from $400 for two weekday nights and $500 for two weekend nights.
