While we’d argue the experience of driving a vehicle on a race track is one of the greatest joys in life, there is a major inconvenience factor stemming from the remote location of most circuits. A new private club in Miami changing this, however, offering members access to a world-class track within the city’s sprawling airport facility as well as a luxurious clubhouse serving five-star cuisine from chef Brad Kilgore.
The club’s private 2+ mile track was penned by renowned South African circuit designer, Alan Wilson, the same person responsible for laying out the courses at Miller Motorsports Park, the Circuit Mont-Tremblant, and the Barber Motorsports Park, amongst more than 20 others. Other amenities offered by the club include 24-hour security, aircraft management, sales, chartering, flight and driving sims, professional driving instructors, karting program, concierge, fuel station, tuning shops and garage storage, and access to a rotating fleet of performance vehicles. While members of the public can apply, having the financial means isn’t enough, as you still have to be privately selected (or invited) to join — and that’s after forking over the $150K initiation fee plus the annual $35K cost.
