The Cliff House Concept

Grab your Cliff Bar, your cassette copy of Aerosmith’s ”Livin’ on the Edge,” and your Cheers postman outfit, then prepare to dangle precariously over the ocean in this concept house designed by architecture collective Modscape.

An Australian couple daringly commissioned the project as a vacation home near the South-West coast of Victoria, Australia, and as long as they can see that erosion coming, we imagine they’ll be the talk of the (closest nearby) town. The plan is for a five story structure with entry to the home coming via a carport on the top floor. A lift and staircase will take you to each floor, and there will be precious little furniture inside, so as not to take away from the dramatic ocean views.
